Abstract

Middle managers' main desirable attributes are to have management and leadership skills, be able to influence their teams, demonstrate a methodical and disciplined approach, and convey the organisations values. Their main functions are to transmit the strategy of the executive management, implement the strategy, plan, execute, control the organisation's activities, define and delegate functions, and lead and motivate their teams

Author Biography

Francisco Sanchez Moreno

Francisco Sanchez Moreno is from Carlos Casares, Argentina. He studied Economics and Philosophy as undergraduate degrees at the University of Buenos Aires, and later completed a masters degree in International Studies at Torcuato Di Tella University. His professional career started by co-founding Dde Ayudo?, a social network that connected volunteers with 150 NGOs across Latin America. He later worked for the Government of the City of Buenos Aires, serving as Director of Housing and Director of Recycling and Circular Economy.

Francisco subsequently worked as a Senior Partner at Campamento Base, a leadership training organisation. In 2024, he was awarded the Chevening Scholarship to pursue the MSc in Leadership and Development at the African Leadership Centre, Kings College London. He is currently currently working with Professor 'Funmi Olonisakin at Kings on education and leadership projects across the UK and several African countries.
